Epping Church of Christ

Sunday Services

Worship

Our worship services are the primary place where we meet with each other for corporate worship, and where we seek to have dynamic, life-changing encounters with God. Whilst the New Testament talks of ‘worship’ as what we offer God of our lives each day, it also stresses the importance of meeting each other,  the public reading of Scripture, preaching & teaching, fellowship, sharing in the Lord’s supper & prayer and  singing.  Each of these elements are a part of our worship services.

The style of the Sunday morning services is cross-generational and especially caters for families and older generations. The style of the evening service caters for youth and young adults. Our desire is that each service would be a reflection of the worship that takes part in our lives each day, and that it would be a time where God is honoured and we are transformed to be more like His Son.

9:30am

Sunday morning is a warm celebration designed for families of all cultural backgrounds, offering a full range of ministry for all ages with Crèche, Pre School Praise, Gravitate  and Teen Zone. It features the best of both contemporary and most loved Christian music. Laugh and learn with the young during the Children’s Spot. The preaching is dynamic and bible based, aimed at life transformation. We enjoy the meaningful fellowship of a simple Holy Communion each week.

A vibrant contemporary worship experience of praise, preaching and prayer, it is geared at teenagers and young adults from all cultures. A great place to connect with other young people, which is further enhanced by a full meal after church  each week. Together with powerful Bible messages that inform and inspire, we enjoy a simple heartfelt experience of the Lord’s Table each week.

 Teaching

The Biblical preaching is personal, direct, relevant and highly motivational. Its goal is to transform young lives by anchoring them in the truths of Christ, as a result equipping them to live for Christ at home, school, uni and work.

 Supper

The after church supper is a full meal where people enjoy good food and friendship. It is our pleasure to give you a free family meal ticket in this pack. It gives a great chance to meet those involved in, and find out about, our Youth groups and Youth Lifegroup Groups.
